What is the phone number to send my updates?

To send updates from:

What is the cost involved?

You pay your local carrier for SMS charges if required. Our numbers are not premium numbers. No payment is being made to gladlyCast.
If you have free local SMS package from your carrier, it would mean this service is totally free for you.

Can I type in Chinese?

Yes you can type in Chinese. You can also type in Hebrew, Japanese and Singlish too, may we add.

What’s the character limit?

You can safely assume there are no character limits.

Does gladlyCast store your passwords for Twitter?

Not at all, we implement a Twitter-supported technology called OAuth. You will only need to sign in with your Twitter account the first time you use us to associate your phone.

Can I change my Twitter or Plurk screen name?

Yes you can. It won’t affect your gladlyCast services.

How do I re-associate my phone if I am to travel to another country that gladlyCast supports?

You do not have to re-associate your phone. Simply send a tweet to the local number of that country will do. Just remember to add the country’s local gladlyCast number to your phonebook.

I’ve sent you a message, why didn’t gladlyCast update my Twitter or Plurk?

How does gladlyCast work for Twitter?

To begin using our services, we require you to sign in with Twitter and allow gladlyCast both read and write access. Once you have successfully signed in, we would be able to send updates on your behalf upon receiving your text messages.

You would then associate your phone number to the Twitter account that you have just signed in with. To do so, we request that you send us a short message using your mobile phone.

By associating your phone to your Twitter account, you enable us to know which Twitter account to post to when we receive an SMS from your mobile phone number.

How do I send a feedback?

You can send your feedbacks to us via Twitter or email by either mentioning @gladlyCast in your Twitter status updates, or emailing us here: we@gladlycode.com.

I do not want to use gladlyCast anymore, how do I unregister?

If you are using Twitter, you can unregister by managing our access through Twitter. To manage your Twitter applications, sign in to your Twitter, click on Settings on the top of the website and then click on Connections.
